Excellent motel

I would give this motel a five for excellence. The unit was spacious and had excellent amenities. The kitchen and bathroom was very well equiped and the beds very comfortable. We stayed there again on our way back from Dunedin

Great place and stay
I would like to say that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff very pleasant, helpful and accommodating.

Upmarket in Timaru!
Our preference is always Avenue Motor Lodge in Timaru if possible as it is truly the most upmarket accommodation in this town. Lovely spacious rooms and serious couches to really relax!
Beautifully appointed and excellently priced
Spacious. Both the one bedroom and studio rooms provided a very comfortable and enjoyable overnight stay. Would certainly repeat the experience.
Huge unit with little price!
The unit is huge with a set of dining table and chairs, flat screen TV, one king size bed and one single bed. The beds were clean and comfortable. The clean bathroom consist of a spa bath and a walk in shower with enough amenities.
We love the heater and the heated tower rack that made it easier for us in this winter month.
Lovely motel would definitely return
I stayed here for 5 nights on a business trip. The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed. The spa bath is a bit of luxury at the end of a long day. I would recommend this motel to couples on a weekend away or business travellers.
It is very close to the town centre (approx 4 minutes drive) and away from the train tracks.
Convenient location, good value accommodation
About half way between Christchurch and south-west tourist areas. We had a 2 bedroom suite which had huge living/dining area, 2 good bedrooms and very well equipped kitchen area. Had 2 comfortable nights and nice welcome from host.

Meets all your requirements
Very friendly and helpful staff, can't fault the cleanliness. Quality fixtures and a very comfortable bed. Although I didn't use the kitchen facilities they are comprehensive. The bathroom is spacious and the spa bath a luxury. Would be perfect for a small business group and the location is nice and quiet.
